Book Launch Reading for Nancy Huang’s Favorite Daughter

Nancy Huang, coming all the way from New Hampshire, is celebrating the recent publication of her first book Favorite Daughter (Write Bloody Publishing), and she’ll be joined by terrific Pacific Northwest poets Cathy Linh Che, Paul Hlava, and Christopher Rose. Nancy Huang (黄洁) is a queer Chinese-American poet. She is a winner of the 2016 Write Bloody Poetry contest, an Andrew Julius Gutow Academy of American Poets Prize, a James F. Chapbook Launch Reading for Xandria Phillips’s Reasons for Smoking

We’re giddy to be hosting this reading in celebration of Xandria Phillips’s newly released chapbook Reasons for Smoking (The Seattle Review / Paper Hammer), chosen by Claudia Rankine as the winner of the 2016 Seattle Review Chapbook Contest.
