Join us for a double reading featuring Colorado-based poets Rebecca Eland and Andrew Schelling!
Rebecca Eland earned her B.A at Naropa University and an M.F.A at Saint Mary’s College of California. She has performed poetry with dancers from the Boulder Ballet, and at venues such as The Royal Botanical Gardens of Glasgow and Edinburgh, The Denver Art Museum and the Watershed Poetry Festival. She has taught poetry and movement at Deer Park Institute, India, and currently dances ballet. Rebecca lives in the mountains just outside of Boulder, Colorado.
Andrew Schelling is a poet, essay writer, and translator of poetry from the Sanskrit and related vernaculars. His most recent book, Tracks Along the Left Coast: Jaime de Angulo and Pacific Coast Culture, is a folkloric account of Western wilderness encounters, linguistics, poetry, medicine power, and creation tales. Schelling teaches at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and at Deer Park Institute in the Himalayan foothills.
