The Seventh Wave, a 501(c)(3) arts and literary organization that focuses on social issues, is excited to host its first-ever event in Seattle after spending three years nurturing a creative community in Brooklyn. In honor of its upcoming eighth issue, “Power And,” editors from The Seventh Wave will lead a roundtable discussion about the ways in which power dynamics and power shifts shape the way we experience our everyday, be it through the lens of privilege, privacy, gender, or politics. Come with an open mind and an excitement to meet new people, engage in lively discussion and debate; leave with new perspectives, new community, and new inspiration toward creating works promoting conversations surrounding these issues.
Space is limited, so please RSVP with subject line “TSW Open Books roundtable” to firstname.lastname@example.org before June 10th to reserve a spot. Cost is free, community is priceless. Any questions, please feel free to reach out!
