Ellen Bass at the Hugo House: A Talk About “Controlled Chaos” in Writing

September 23, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This evening, offered as a part of the Hugo House’s on-going WordWorks series of talks by major writers, finds the poet Ellen Bass speaking on what she calls “the long-armed poem,” work that engages material that might seem to exceed its scope. This event is co-presented by LiTFUSE, a weekend poetry workshop held in Tieton, Washington. Ms. Bass has read at Open Books several times, each a stellar event, and we are pleased to be able to offer books for sale at Hugo House this evening. Here are links to more information about Ms. Bass’s appearance at Hugo House and this year’s LiTFUSE workshops.
