KEVIN CRAFT
We're pleased to host Kevin Craft's inaugural reading from his first
book of poems, Solar Prominence, published by Cloudbank Books. Fusing deft
and snazzy music with richly detailed imagery, Mr. Craft's poems investigate
a variety of relationships. Family history, interpersonal relationships, and
the historic swirl of western civilization find place in this often
surprisingly playful work. The aptly named Mr. Craft has forged a collection
of entertaining and humane poems. "How much / future can one man take? One
day at a time, that's the telemark technique, the switchback way / down the
vertical galore."
