JAMES GURLEY & NEILE GRAHAM
Mr. Gurley won the 2002 T.S. Eliot Prize, and his winning collection, _Human Cartography_ (Truman State), debuts tonight. His work merges the lives and voices of scientists and artists to map the flowing identities and thoughts. An example, from "Biosophy: An Optimist's Manifesto," "What of that // other possibility, evening, / when our whole body is one sense." The poems in Ms. Graham's latest book, _Blood Memory_ (BuschekBooks), braid stories of people from across centuries into a thick metaphysical cord. This is an evening of poetry of shifting selves.
